Willow Holoubek serves as
Organizational Director for the Alliance for the Future of Agriculture in
Nebraska (A-FAN). She began serving in this position in June 2010. In this
capacity, Willow is responsible for administering the day-to-day management of
the organization. In addition to working with A-FAN’s various committees,
Nebraska Agriculture Promotion and Education Projects, Willow will also serve
as a resource for Nebraska farmers and ranchers looking to expand their
livestock operations.
Before joining A-FAN,
Willow worked as a private consultant and project coordinator in the area of
bioenergy development. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director of
the Butler County Development Board where she worked to aid in the retention,
expansion and development of new businesses in Butler County.
Born and raised in the sand
hills of western Nebraska, Willow has deep roots in agriculture. She earned a
Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska, in animal science,
and is a past graduate of the Nebraska Leadership Education/Action Development
(LEAD) program (Class XXVI).
Willow and her family operate a grain and
livestock farm near David City where they raise purebred Angus cattle, corn,
soybeans and dairy quality alfalfa.
